What we collect

Most of InformSphere works without an account and does not ask for your name or contact details. Addresses typed into the electorate lookup are geocoded by Google Maps to find a boundary; we do not store them. If you create a Trading Floor account, we store the email address and trader name you provide, plus your simulated (virtual-money) portfolio and trade history, solely to run the game. Enquiries sent through the contact form are kept so we can respond.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to collect aggregate usage statistics — pages viewed, approximate location, device type — to understand how the site is used. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Third-party services

Pages on this site load services from Google (Maps, Fonts, Analytics, AdSense and AI analysis infrastructure), TradingView (market data widgets) and Google Firebase (hosting and authentication). Each of these providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, and processes it under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics, Google AdSense, embedded third-party widgets and the Trading Floor sign-in may set cookies or use similar local-storage technologies for measurement, advertising and keeping you signed in.

Data about public figures

This site presents publicly available information about elected officials and candidates, drawn from official and published sources, together with clearly labelled automated analysis.
